Two big events are scheduled at Mary Vinson Memorial Library today: Dr. Rosalie Richards of GCSU will be here doing a Water Science program at 10:30 am and Storyteller Wendy Bennett will be doing a performance entitled "These Books Are All Wet" at 1:00 pm. Come out and enjoy the fun!

Unfortunately, Digital Bridges is not offering their computer education classes at the library for the foreseeable future. They are restructuring the curriculum and hope to resume the classes at some point in the future. We're sorry for the late notice but we just found out ourselves.

The always hotly contested Employee of the Month Award goes to... COLLEEN WILSON! Colleen has the adult shelves at Mary Vinson looking better than they have in years and we'd really like to recognize her for the hard work she does! Congrats, Colleen!!!

Library Director Barry Reese and Assistant Director LaToya Davidson will be guests on Z-97's Winning Wednesdays show tomorrow to promote Summer Reading Club. Winning Wednesday runs from noon until 2 pm!
