If you're enthusiastic and love working with kids, we might have the perfect part-time position for you! We're looking for someone to fill an opening in our Children's Programming Department. Lake Sinclair Branch Manager Virginia Greene will be representing the Twin Lakes Library System at the YES (Youth Enrichment Services) Information Fair at the Milledgeville Mall from 11 am to 3 pm on Saturday May 8. She will be distributing information about the System. If you're out and about on Saturday, be sure to stop by and say hello to her and learn all about the Library's services!
Tonight's FREE Movie Showing: "The Blind Side" (Rated PG-13)
The story of Michael Oher, a homeless and traumatized boy who became an All American football player and first round NFL draft pick with the help of a caring woman and her family. This wonderfully moving film starts at 6 pm at the Mary Vinson Memorial Library.
Floride Allen Schedule Update
The Floride Allen Library will be closed April 27 and 29. It will be open the rest of the week during its normal hours.
The Game's Afoot!
Tonight at the Mary Vinson Memorial Library, we'll be offering a FREE showing of 2009's smash hit SHERLOCK HOLMES. This wonderful film was inspired by the equally wonderful works of Arthur Conan Doyle, so check out a collection of Sherlock Holmes stories while you're visiting for the movie! The film begins at 6 pm!
