The annual Library Fair will be held September 20th
and will once again feature a huge book sale, food & games for the
kids and a wide range of other fun events, like the Old Capitol
Cloggers, Mark the Magic Man and various sales like plants and flea
market items. Be there from 9 am to 2 pm for the Library's biggest
fundraiser!!!!!!
The 2008 Patron Survey Is Finished
The results of the 2008 Patron Survey are in and the
results are: you like us, you really, really like us! Thanks to all
who took part and please be assured that we will be going through
each survey and taking its responses to heart. If you look through
the survey you will see that *all* comments have been included, even
those that weren't very nice at all.
Next year, we hope to to have even more people
answer the survey and for the results to be even better! Click on

The Big Read... Coming in Oct '08!
The Twin Lakes Library System is
partnering with Georgia College and State University and
other community organizations in The Big Read, in which
we'll be urging all the citizens of Baldwin County to read
the same book in the month of October. The chosen book this
year is A Lesson Before Dying by Ernest Gaines. Stay
tuned for more details but confirmed events already include
an outdoor showing of the film at Mary Vinson, book talks
and dramatic interpretations of the novel!
