Expect some big changes for the Bookstore in the next month or so!

You've probably heard the whisperings and the half-hearted curses...
witnessed the disbelieving shaking of administrative heads... and
wondered what was up. Well, I'll tell you: we're gonna turn the place
upside down!

Take notes if you need to, 'cause this is gonna get wild:

Frank's Friends will be moving out of its current location, moving
upstairs to the Young Adult area. This means that the store will be
open during all of our normal operating hours and sales will be
handled by the upstairs staff. Mandy will continue overseeing the
placement of books onto those shelves and assisting with online sales
and various Friends business, as well as moving into Becca's vacating
Reference slot.

Wait! What happens to the Young Adult collection, you ask? Well, the
YA area is finally getting a home of their own. They're moving
downstairs but not into the Friend's store room... they're going into
the Circulation Office! We're in the process of working out the
logistics for their getting into and out of that room even now and are
very excited about giving the teens their own computing area with
plenty of space for programming! No longer will the teens be forced
into the adult or children's areas. Yay!

But what about Jared and the Circ office? He's moving down the hall
into... wait for it... the Friend's Store room! He'll have plenty of
room to operate and more privacy to boot.

So... to summarize....

Friend's Store -- moving upstairs into the old YA area.
YA area -- moving downstairs into the old Circ Office.
Circ Office -- moving down the hall into the old Friend's Store.

Monday.

Things begin to happen.
